On Thursday 16 June and Friday 17 June, Winternachten festival decamped to PAARD, which transformed into a paradise for lovers of literature, poetry and music! You got inspired by the fantastic line-up of the festival's summer edition. Wandered through the halls, joined a table in the café, ordered a drink and came to listen. Whichever event you chose, during this summertime Winternachten you were treated to literary surprises, musical highlights and intimate readings.

A selection from the Friday night program: Manon Uphoff presents an incisive collection of literary excerpts about domestic violence; a good discussion about masculinity (with Raoul de Jong et al.); feminist horror from Latin America (with Pola Oloixarac, Elfie Tromp et al.); a new look at feminism in Turkey; Neske Beks in the talk show of ROSE Stories; music by Aafke Romeijn, N3rdistan and Merel Polat et al.; and the favourite "homecoming" books of your favourite authors.
