Ondrofeni
was founded in 1994, and contains 18 musicians of Surinam descent. They play Kaskawi, a mixture of Kawina (Surinam vocal music) and Kaseko (dance music with western instruments). Ondrofeni counts as an example of the youngest generation Surinam musicians in The Netherlands.
