Nicole Terborg
(1976, Nijmegen) is a journalist and presenter. She has worked for television and radio programmes of NTR, VPRO, the Dutch World Service and Radio West. In addition to her work in broadcasting Nicole hosts and leads varying meetings: from debates and congresses to literary festivals and other cultural events. She completed three studies: Journalism at the Hogeschool van Utrecht, Religion and the Philosophy of Life at the Free University in Amsterdam and a Master's Degree in Journalism in a Crossmedial News Surroundings at the Media Academie.

Days before the announcement of the winner of the VSB Poetry Award, the five nominees read at the festival. Who's Afraid of Youth
Pupils of Haags Montessori Lyceum and het Diamant College climb the stage and recite poems of their own. More than ten hours of poetry lessons they have behind them. Inspiration came from poet Maarten Inghels, who visited them in class and read poetry with them. Then they started working with the teachers of Huis van Gedichten. After a lot of writing, crossing out, expanding and cutting down the pupils now read their finest verse at the festival. Maarten Inghels performs with them. Host: Nicole Terborg. Trio Koenijn
Wilko Sterke (piano and sax), Frank van Kasteren (guitar) and philosopher Koenijn sing melancholic and oldfashioned as well as brand new songs. Trio Koenijn is part of the Circus Treurdier, a young musical theatre company made up of graduates of drama schools and theatre institutions.
