Leon Noel
was born in Saint Martin to a French Guyanese Father and a Kittian mother. He went to school on the French Side of Saint Martin and then went on to Martinique to study accounting. In his adolescent years he succumbed to a brief depression which prompted him to pen his thoughts. In 2003 he wrote his first poem and was encouraged by a dear friend to continue poetry. His repertoire of poems is based on various themes such as the ecosystems found in the region, tourism, Christianity, culture & tradition of Saint Martin. He would like his poetry to inspire all and incite people to start the art of rhythmic words.
