Laurent Binet

(1972) spent his military service time in Slowakia and lived in Prague. He lectures French at the Universy of Seine-Saint-Denis. With is debut novel HhhH, he gained the Prix Goncourt du Premier Roman. HhhH was translated in 20 countries, and became a bestseller in The Netherlands as well. For his latest book, Rien ne se passe comme prévu (Nothing goes as planned), he closely followed François Hollande during his campaign for the presidency.
