(1990) is a writer with degrees in international law and classical languages. Together with her father, Pieter Steinz, she published Steinz. Gids voor de wereldliteratuur (Steinz: Guide to world literature, 2005). In this reference book, the writers give an overview of narrative fiction including 416 writers, 104 masterpieces, 52 bookwebs, 52 literary maps, 26 themes, 26 quizzes and 26 one-book wonders. In 2016, Steinz co-wrote the children's book series Sterren van morgen (Stars of Tomorrow) with Judith Eiselin, Nicolien Mizee and Hans van der Beek. Each writer looked after her or his own character and its story; this is how Steinz made her literary debut with De tranen van Saar (The tears of Saar). In 2019, she published P.S., a collection of 150 funny, moving or significant letters she found in archives. Together with Steinz's essays, the facsimiles tell the history of the letter while also revealing The Netherlands through the ages. She also writes for the national Dutch daily De Volkskrant and is a moderator for the Winternachten festival.
