Dichtdokter
Miranda Poel (1972, Appingedam) finished her studied at the Academy of Art in Tilburg in 2001. She is a photographer, director, author of filmscripts and a appears in various acts, performed at different locations for many different occasions. there was a lot of attention for her act 'sighs of relief', in which she catches peoples laments and the accompanying messages in a bag. As poetry doctor she is available for consultation, armed with a pen, and convinced that words can heal. "Utter one word and you will become healthy". She uses that word to write an epigram.

Foyer: poetry doctor, DJ and bookshop
Leafing through the books of your latest favorite writer, chat with other visitors, ponder about your own satirical poem, or do nothing at all. All this is possible in the foyer of Theater aan het Spui. D.J. Gringo plays quiet, African dance and latin music. The poetry doctor writes out prescriptions, on the assumption that words can be healing and with a syringe she takes a 'truth serum' out of an ampoule and injects this onto the patients tongue. The first word that the patient utters she uses to compose an epigram. The bar is open for drinks and delicious snacks.

Edo Salgado plays a quiet mixture of jazz, dance and world music, writers sign their books in the bookshop and the Dichtdokter (poetry-doctor) writes her healing prescriptions. The bar is open for drinks and snacks.
