On 7 October translators Daan Doesborgh, Michele Hutchison, Nisrine Mbarki and Mariolein Sabarte Belacortu were guests to talk about their discipline. The program Should I translate? was a cheerful and fervent plea for the importance of greater visibility of the translator's craftsmanship.

It was so good to be able to welcome the public back again. Festival photographer Serge Ligtenberg captured the sparkling conversation in Studio B in the Central Library. You can find more of his photos from this program on Facebook.

On Thursday 4 November, writers Annelies Verbeke, Jannah Loontjens, Gustaaf Peek and Vilan van de Loo will discuss Lin Scholte's touching novel Bibi Koetis voor altijd for the new Fixdit podcast series Modern Classics. Location: Museum Sophiahof, check here for more information and tickets.
