Asta Olivia Nordenhof from Denmark recently caused a literary sensation and established her international name as a novelist with Money to Burn (2024), the start of a seven-part series. Each volume will be related to the fire on the cruise ship the Scandinavian Star in 1990. A tragedy that still haunts Danish minds. In January 2025, The Devil Book will be published as the second volume of the series. Nordenhof performs 24 January 2025 during Friday Night Unlimited.

Alvina Chamberland is a Swedish-American author of literary autofiction novels. Through poetic prose, incisive social commentary and gallows humour, her novel Love the World or Get Killed Trying (2024) delves into the mind of Alvina, a trans woman approaching 30. The reader follows her journey through the wilderness of Iceland and across the boulevards of Berlin and Paris as she explores questions of eternity, sexuality, desire, death, love and how hard it is to stay soft when you are a relentless target of straight men's secret lust and open dislike. Chamberland performs 25 January 2025 at Saturday Night Unlimited.
