It's international, it's about literature, it's a festival and it's in The Hague. From 16-19 January Writers Unlimited Winternachten offers performances by writers from all over the world. From Dutch writer Herman Koch to the French-Lebanese writer Amin Maalouf, from Connie Palmen from Holland to Geling Yan from China.

On these pages you'll find the overall festival programme, including time schedules and background information on all the participating authors and musicans. Programme subject to change.

This edition of the festival has a theme: "Like me", an allusion to the social media.

There are English as well as Dutch programmes. In Filmhuis Den Haag there is a choice of films selected by the writers, there is food and drink, there is music by Wende and by Huub van der Lubbe, but also by Typhoon and Neco Novellas. And at the end of the shows everyone dances the night away. Welcome!

Programme changes
De performances of Milo Manara in Saturday Night Unlimited and on Sunday afternoon have been cancelled due to family circumstances.
The performance of Geling Yan in Friday Night Unlimited has been cancelled for health reasons. Gary Barker will replace her. She will perform in Saturday Night Unlimited. Het optreden van Geling Yan op vrijdagavond kan om gezondheidsredenen niet doorgaan.
In het Schrijversfeest wordt Anne Vegter wegens ziekte vervangen door Alfred Schaffer en Ronald Snijders.
