Is Holland going through an identity crisis? The Image of Holland was the theme of the eight edition of Winternachten. A festive search for the true nature of The Netherlands, with more than sixty authors, musicians and stand-up comedians from The Netherlands, Flanders, Indonesia, South-Africa, Surinam and the Antilles.

On Friday- and Saturday evening there were many performances and films in three venues in one theatre. On Sunday afternoon writers from The Netherlands and abroad sang their newly created national anthems for our country. New this year was a series of debates.
