(Malatya, Turkey, 1962) graduated from Hacettepe University Department of Turkology. For a while worked as a teacher and a broadcaster. Worked as producer-director at TRT (Turkish national radio and television), retired. Filmed various documentaries. His first short story was published in 1980 on the culture and art page of a newspaper. Has written books of short stories, novels, tales, essays, discourses. In this event the authors will take on a reading and discussion about the remembrance of places and its interaction with the overall narrative structure in prose and poetry.
